- Individual, small, and large group activities
- Experiences that allow for learning at the child’s own level
- Creative expression
- Intellectual stimulation
- Language development
- Multicultural and diversified experiences

Vacation Days
Any days not attended (for vacation, sickness, etc.) are considered vacation days. Great Beginnings’ contract year is September through August. Vacation days will be granted on the following schedule:
Vacation days will be prorated based on the enrollment date of the child. Vacation days cannot be carried over or shared between families. They can, however, be shared within a family. The amount of credit will be $35.00 per vacation day.
Payments
Payment of the contractual weekly amount must be received in advance on the Friday prior to the week of care by the time the center closes. If payment is not received on time, a late fee will be charged to your account, if prior arrangements have not been made. If a holiday falls on a Friday, payment must be received the day before. Your child’s enrollment may be terminated if the payment is one week late. We offer bi-weekly ACH payments. We also accept state assistance payments.
Invoices for hours beyond the contractual weekly amount as well as any fees will be distributed to those applicable on Tuesday (or late Monday) following the week the charges were incurred. The payment for these invoices is due on Friday of that week.
Parent-Provider Agreement
Parents must contract with Great Beginnings for a specific number of hours per week. You will be billed for the contractual number of hours you have enrolled your child. Hours may be added based on availability.
Contracts are available and based on a full year, school-year only, or summer only schedule. Any hours in addition to those contracted will be billed at the drop-in rate.
School-Year Only Schedules
Parents requiring school-year only schedules will contract for only the weeks required during the school year. There is no reduction in tuition for spring break or winter break, however, you may use your vacation days if you desire. In order to hold your child’s spot through the summer months, there will be a holding fee equal to three weeks of tuition that must be paid prior to summer vacation. We do not hold spots through the summer months for children under two or school-aged children.
School Age Child’s Schedule
Great Beginnings offers child care for school age children before and after school as well as during winter and summer breaks and scheduled early release days and days off of school, as available. The rates for school age children include breakfast (before school care and day off of school), snack (after school care and day off), and lunch (day off).
